Training the Next Generation of

Operating Room Nurses

TRAINING

OR Futures has designed a proprietary training program, integrating the fundamentals of the AORN Periop 101 Course and combining it with an intensive hands-on approach to ensure acquisition and retention of critical OR skills. 

 

Students will participate in a 10-week in-depth training program, guided by experts in the field and emerge with the confidence and competence to provide safe patient care as novice OR nurses.

  • 23 AORN computer-based modules

  • Supplemental videos and quiz review

  • Intensive hands-on skills practice labs as well as guest lectures from industry experts

  • Zoom based lectures on fundamentals and advanced techniques

  • Group discussions & exam prep
